Spam, spam and spam everywhere
Today's new content
It's what takes away my interest on this site. I get it through the contact form, directly through e-mail, on the forum, the comments... I hate it so much I had to change the site registration to administrator approval, because the posts there were just TOO nasty... and now I can't even tell which ones are real people and which ones are spammers, so if you'd like to register here, or you already did but didn't get an activation, please comment here or contact me and let me know which username you used.
I approved all pending avatars and renders yesterday, still have to check the pending layouts.
The download link for smilies is now fixed, I didn't notice it wasn't working before.
Oh... and I almost forgot... happy new year to all, though it's a bit late!

Awww, happy new year, Melfina! I'm always checking here...I have been since '04. I know, some of the comments are nasty, but I'm glad you are still trying to maintain the place. =)
First, much refief with the updates. And that you feel the same way about spam. That stuff gets harder to die down than a Yankees game, but don't let it drive you crazy.

I get the same =/. I just put it through approvals...I should really try installing captcha too.

spammers... have recaptcha or captcha would be great or maybe Akismet.
Yeah, is there any way for you to use captcha? I used to get a ton of spam through forms, and now I get none.
