Watermark

You must know the basics of Paint Shop Pro to follow this tutorial.

The easiest way to add a digital signature that doesn’t ruin your art but still shows is to use a watermark. A watermark is anything that is see-through but marks the image in a recognizable way.

Open a new window, preferably, transparent and rastor:

You can use any dimensions you want, as long as they are big enough for your name to fit in.

Once your new image opens, click on the text tool, and write your name or whatever you would like your watermark to say, don’t worry about the colours, they don’t really matter. Use a simple and readable font, with the following settings:
Floating
Anti-Alias checked

If you don’t already have your Layers Palette out, do have it out by pressing F8 on your keyboard.

Then go to Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow. The following are the settings I use, you can experiment and see what suits you better later on.

Deselect your text by pressing Ctrl+D or going to Selections > Select None.

Crop you image as much as possible without cutting off the watermark.

After you have cropped it. Go to File > Export > Picture Tube

Enter the following settings:

And VOILA! Now every time you want to watermark your images, select it from your Picture Tubes, and use it!
