It's creepy, but if that's the effect you're going for, why not? The text is a little hard to read, but the only way to solve that would be with a colored div with a less-than-100% opacity behind the text to keep it separate from the image.

Also I'm sorry to hear about the pain you're in. You should consider talking to someone about it.

Its creative, you get a kind of feel that makes you feel or see pain..
I agree that the content text is a bit hard to read too
In my opinion and sense of taste, I dont like the background of the headers matching the actual background colour. I think it should blend in kinda of but also stand out.
I say fade the background image to make it not stand out TOO much because thats all the people see, not your content. Change the font colour and take out the header background, if not take it out change the colour to something different.

The text is near impossible to read at some points bcause it blends in with the background. No one likes having to highlight just to read someone's page.
