I've been making icons by myself and I can't churn out more than 50(i fail) icons a time, so if your willing to help me make some for my community on www.livejournal.com

i'm happy to make icons for you, though there'd be a limit as to how many a week if this was a standing thing. are you only looking for plain boring icons like the samples or are you looking for animation, effects, burn in's etc ? not really interested in making boring one's im sorry... also guidelines? what did you want them to be of?

Thanks for replying ~  and no, animations, burnig,textures are totally kool too!
 i don't really have guidlines or anything, just nothing too explicit and that sorta thing.
oh, right if you have lj that'd be a real good thing, so that u can post the icons urself @ the comm(saves the trouble of credititng poblems), because your not making them for me, its just that i'd like a partner to start the community off with, since its not one of those comms where the posting access is for anyone who joins, - its only for the mod(s). Anything goes really, Anime,Actors,Stock image, manga...ect.

can i please see some of the icons you make?

Also, I wouldn't mind making icons for you or posting my current icons, however, I guess I'd prefer that you gave me feedback about them first (Like, what you like, don't like, etc) so I don't look like the total idort for going in with bad icons lol.

i like your userpic of luke, thats the kind of style i personally like, but icons with texturing, coloring(me), animated(by gully_moe), text(me), colored manga(moi),are the ones that are popular with people these days(which i <3 as well)

may i see some of your examples plz?
i'm quite a beginner so any icons are ok, as long as there're not offensive, explicit (i know no one will but i still felt like putting this here asdfjk).

just as an example these sort of icons i don't really like right now and probably not too popular(but who knows)


bad example from me:

five things i can tell right off the bat:
-creative maybe, but over saturated and unorganized
-i like the swirls in her face : ) (plain sarcasm, really [me: it's from the saw---runn!!!]
-the textplacement is alright but the whole picture and the font doesn't really match the theme: poison
-the cropping is centered around Yuuko's face (which is too plain and not interesting)
- bit sharp and pixlated>.<

the updates i do usually are monthly icon/graphic updates....from 100-200 icons each.
Course u don't hafto( bout somethin around 40 is kk)
