I'm not gone
Melfina, 2006-10-26 00:00:00
It's been a long while, isn't it?
I've been really busy lately with my classes and other things, hopefully this weekend I'll have some free time and make an update.
There was a little update a week ago or so, and I added two brush sets and one php tutorial, but never mentioned it.
One of the brush sets was done with photos and the other one with photoshop and illustrator.
The php tutorial is about showing all folder contents, handy for an image album or something like that.
Finally, the server problems seem to be solved, at least there hasn't been any downtime lately! Anyways, if anything does happen, now that the forum is hosted on a different server, I'll announce it there, so do bookmark the url: http://forum.bleedingsoul.org/
Edit: I forgot to mention that I've been working on some sort of monthly small magazine (online magazine) with articles about web designing and development. If anyone is interested in posting articles there (middle to long articles), please keep in contact with me (or through the forum), each article will be linked to the author's site and will belong exclusively to the author.
At first, I was going to upload the first one on november 1st, but it's not ready, so I think it'll have to wait until december.
Technical problems (solved)

No, this is not a regular update, I just want to keep you informed about what's been going on since the site went down as there have been weird things happening around the site.
First, the site went down due to the high server resource use. Since it was having more visits than usual (almost two times the visits we had on june) and the site's running with PHP and MySQL, I guess it was just a matter of time...
This is a persistent problem, but I've cached some of the sections of the site to solve this. I'll keep making coding changes and all, but you won't notice the changes.
Next, there were some PHP changes from my host, so many of the pages weren't working at all, they didn't show properly. This problem is now being fixed, but now you can browse the site unlike before. There are still some things that need to be fixed, but I'm looking into it page by page.
Well, this page changes are my main priority right now, so I won't be processing submissions or updating until it's all solved, hopefully in a day or two, I'll keep you updated. Please if you find any errors, do let me know through the contact page, that will make everything easier.
